In November 2018, I travelled to Pine Island in Florida to spend time kayaking around the mangrove forests of the island and Cayo Costa State Park. Mangroves are in the front line of climate change, as sea waters rise. These are pictures which share the lifecycle of the mangrove, from flower, through to seed pod, to seedling – and maybe starting a new mangrove colony.
